County confirm departing reserve team players

Following the best season of any County senior side to date the club can confirm that a number of players will be moving on ahead of the forthcoming campaign.

A number of long-serving players head up the list of those departing including Josh Stefanini, Liam Kennedy and Robert Usher with the former two previously captaining the clubs u21's and the latter our previous reserve and first team skipper.

Stefanini, who had been at the club for over 5 years commented that ' it had been an honour to be part of the team that brought the first league silverware to the club, the fans will always be in my heart'. Usher had a similar message and vowed to be 'back playing for Berks again at some point in the future'.

Another to confirm departure is defender Jack Kennedy who has returned to University for the next year. We look forward to welcoming Jack back next season.

Other players to confirm departures are right back Darren McNeil, striker Oliver Lawson and defender/midfielder Mark Rose.

Callum Shields has also left the club.
