After 2 years of missing out because of COVID, we’re delighted to announce that we will be holding a Berks County FC Awards Day this year. It will be held on Sat 25 June at Charters School in Ascot (with a backup date of Sat 2 July in case of bad weather), starting early morning and finishing early/mid afternoon.
This is always a great family fun day where we get the whole Club together to celebrate the year, give awards within each team, raise some funds for the Club and have some stalls and activities to make it a fantastic event. Each team will also have the opportunity to play a small game on the Charters astro or 3G pitch. We will send out the detailed scheduled in a few weeks and your coach / manager will tell you how to vote for the awards that will be given.
There will be a BBQ, bar and other refreshments available throughout the day.
Our whole Club runs on the efforts of a small number of unpaid coaches, managers and committee members who do it for the love of the game and the huge benefits it gives to all of our children. We are sure you appreciate that this event takes a huge effort to organise and run and we cannot do it without your participation. The Club has continued to grow significantly and we now have over 40 teams and expect up to 1000 of you to attend throughout the event!
We need volunteers to run the various stalls throughout the day. If you can commit for 1- 2 hours on the day to help run a stall then please send a message to awardsday2022@berkscountyfc.com and we will then work out a schedule based around when your child has their match / award session.
Also, one of the most successful stalls in previous years has been the raffle / auction. So if you have something you’d like to donate, or if the business you run or work for would like to donate something (or any club you’re a member of), then please email on the above address and we’ll get in touch.
