I would like to thank our members for their generosity over the last 18 months, through your donations and our volunteer’s fundraising efforts. Our club has purchased and supplied two trampolines and an outdoor shed to Margaret Wells Furby Children’s Development Centre.

The children’s centre works with around 260 families with children under the age of 5 every year, most of these children have medical diagnoses or lifelong developmental disorder.
From a personal perspective, the children’s centre has changed my life. Not only was my son’s diagnosis confirmed here, but the care throughout the process and over the following months and years has helped smooth out a very rocky road. These are experiences I am happy to talk over with anyone willing to hear.

Donations were kindly received through a donation portal on our member’s club accounts and through our 2016 RESPECT Day held at Hurst Lodge.
