BERKS COUNTY RESPECT FOR PARENTS, CARERS, SPECTATORS, PLAYERS, COACHES & CLUB OFFICIALS
Berks County teams play in Berkshire leagues which supports the FA Respect Programmes. Welfare and protection of young persons is top priority, meaning everyone in football must take on responsibility for looking after those who want to play the game. There are Welfare Officers at all levels in support of the this. Please report any issues as soon as possible to Wayne Cannon, Club Welfare Officer clubwelfare@berkscountyfc.com or another Club Official. Concerns may also be reported to Safeguarding@Berks-BucksFA.com
Club Values
Players in the Junior teams play primarily to have fun and enjoy playing football, learning new skills, making friends and keeping fit.
Every child has a talent, it is our aim to help in the development of that talent in order to enhance the good feelings they get from playing football.
We respect all team- mates and their right to play – whatever their ability.
With all teams (Juniors and Adults) we want to develop mutual respect and trust to build every players self-esteem, encourage each player to accept responsibility for their own behaviour and performance and to co-operate fully with others in football (e.g. coaches, Welfare Officers) for each players best interest.
If our players give up football they should do it because they choose to and not because of pressure from team mates or spectators
FA Respect and #WeOnlyDoPositive.
